I'm very disappointed

Last year I paid $20 less for the same soft ware. I have always used Turbo Tax but next year I am going shopping.

Generally excellent software-one caveat

I am a long time user of TurboTax and have generally been quite satisfied with my experience. This year I ran into a problem with the pull down menus. Somewhat randomly but all to frequently, they didn't respond. For example, if I wanted to save a file the File pull down did not respond. So I had to use CTL-S. Likewise the other menus weren't available. Sometimes after a while they worked. At other times I had to close the program and reopen.
What's great about it: Comprehensive and user friendly
What's not so great: The pull down menus did not respond at times.

Thanks for assisting me - after the Fed and State were rejected - to correct the errors - and refile the returns. A very easy process on my part.

Generally handles issues associated with filing wages, pensions, capital gains and the like very well. Handling of K1s and associated gains, losses and loss carryovers assumes a tax accountant's knowledge of forms and how to fill them out.
Overall good but could be better.

I really had grave doubts and concern as I started out with this years TurboTax. However it was still a good experience. I will hope that NO features or capabilities are removed or bundled for increased pricing.
What's great about it: Relative ease of use with some exceptions.
What's not so great: Navigation not as intuitive as previous years. Sometimes felt confused at where I ended up during navigation.

Turbo Tax never lets me down!

I've been using Turbo Tax, every year since 1995, and have never had a problem with my returns. It gives me the freedom to select my own path. I can good step by step like a tutorial, or just address the areas that I know from experience are the only ones I need to be concerned with. The best advantage to using Turbo Tax, year after year, is that it pulls up my previous year's returns and automatically brings forward all the important areas that have multi-year implications.
What's great about it: Intuitive, Easy to Use, Always Up-to-date, Reliable
What's not so great: None encountered

Better refund than expected.

Is there any other way to do your own taxes? I think not!
What's great about it: Thorough and catches problems.
What's not so great: several times it tried to start over. I had to find the partially completed file.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
