I successfully completed a Federal and California e-file. Calculated I had a $1270 tax penalty on my federal 1040 return for my Covered CA premium assistance.
What's great about it: Very clear instructions, easy to use, handled my more complicated tax situations
What's not so great: Could not efile my WVA return, Calculated incorrect tax credit for my 2013 WVA return.

Nearly 30 years of using TurboTax

I first used TurboTax when Chipsoft developed it back in the mid-80's!! On an amber screen Compaq computer with MSDOS and an Epson 386 dot-matrix printer, I can only say that it was easier than hand preparation, but took a REALLY long time!!!
It is so smooth and easy today with the step-by-step walk-through and inkjet printers. I love the control over and knowledge of your personal information that a user has by self-preparing their own return.
I hope Intuit continues to offer the software installed locally and doesn't go the QuickBooks online route. I want my data on my machine......

Excellent product, but we have not had any really difficult scenarios to this point. A number of the less often used entries were vaguely defined.
What's great about it: Flow, simplicity, help functions
What's not so great: State return - there was no indication that the State had to be chosen from a list of one to end a loop of state complet

I required the "free" update to premiere edition where the 2013 edition did have all of the forms. If the 2015 edition requires me to purchase the premiere edition I will seriously consider moving to another software supplier.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: Delux did not contain certain forms that were included with the 2013 edition.

overall makes taxes much easier and saves a lot of time
What's great about it: very easy and time saving
What's not so great: filled out a lot of questions and whole sections that did not apply to me. need way to correct at time of error.

The instructions were easier to follow than previously. Overall, I was satisfied with the Turbo Tax process; however, please don't eliminate schedules I am accustomed to finding in the Deluxe package.
What's great about it: This format is more user-friendly.
What's not so great: Deluxe changes were a serious mistake.
