I got bogged down with areas in which data needed to be linked and there were weak explanations of what needed to be done and how. For example the notation "-1 must be entered" just leaves the user hanging. The help file consistently said no responses yet on this issue. That was not comforting.
What's great about it: uploads were good
What's not so great: I had to work with both the survey and the forms to resolve issues. Usability is not great.

The only problem I encountered was on the self employment section where the amt was included here for wages received on a 1099 for overtime wages recovered on a law suit. Not enough information as to why the classification.
What's great about it: Concise
What's not so great: Short on information on some items.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's not so great: Had trouble with the section on sale of stocks.

I was disappointed that after purchasing the Deluxe version, which I have used for many years, I was required to upgrade in order to properly report Investment Income. As such, I will probably research other software next year.

entering data from consolidated k-1 from publicly traded MLP's is very confusing, especially when those K-1's are consolidated and put into a personal family partnership K-1
What's great about it: handle a lot of very complicated income situations from K-1
What's not so great: also didn't handle income from K-1's very well

The only thing is that some times, some of the forms will add zeros dollar amounts to certain entries. Later when I do the "review tax return section" I get an error there asking me to correct (take the zeros out - or blank the box) when the program shouldn't have put any info there to begin with. But other than that.. very user friendly and fast to use. Thanks!
What's great about it: Very easy to follow sections
What's not so great: Turbo Tax keeps getting ore expensive each year
