It just gets better -- and more expensive.

The product is easy to use and flows well, but you have to know what a reasonable answer is to protect yourself. Example: if you follow the prompts for estimating taxes for 2015, your are asked how much you have already paid in 2015. It doesn't ever ask you what you know will be paid via withholding for the entire year. If you go to the worksheet, you will see that if you don't compute what will be withheld, the numbers for quarterly estimated taxes will be much too large.
Even with the upgrade to Premier from Deluxe because of the awkward product roll-out, you still have to pay for the first state computation. That means an increase of more than $40 for the purchase of the software. The first state was included in Deluxe last year. There is still a fee for e-filing the state return.

Paying for Filing of State Returns

Need another option for this function that includes paying by electronic deduction from a bank checking account without having to go through Intuit, or using refund money. If you don't have a refund coming your choices are immediately narrowed down to one at present. Intuit would still get its money for filing, it would just be coming from a bank account instead of a credit card.
What's not so great: Can't use bank checking account to pay for State return filing.

Makes It Easy

Gets better every year. This was the best and easiest yet. Handled all complicated stuff with ease. Should have password feature to protect shared computer users from accessing files.

Good job, but switch surprised me

TurboTax has worked fairly well for me in the past. This year was much the same, but I was surprised when I was forced to upgrade to Premium to enter my K-1 info when I'm pretty sure I used Deluxe before.
Some questions for the rare parts of the tax law are a little muddy, but they all seem to not apply to me. My K-1 is always the most confusing section, even after talking to the accountant, but I've never had any problems with the IRS over it.
All in all, still well done, but for the surprise over needing Premium (though I was upgraded for free this year).
What's great about it: Nice walk through, most situations are clear
What's not so great: Some section muddy, needed premium now for k-1

DIY---Easy

This is an excellent product. I used it many years ago and then when my taxes became more complex I went to a CPA. After using the product again this year, I think I could have safely and easily used Turbo Tax all along.
The menus are very clear and the help is excellent. I would recommend this product to others with no hesitation.

Simplicitiy

I like the guidance that Turbo Tax gives.
I always debate whether or not to go to a tax professional because of the hassles of Schedule K but when I finish I think that one year Turbo Tax make the Limited Partnership tax forms more clear.
