I have used TurboTax for years. I am always impressed with each year's improvements. Every year my confidence in knowing the right answers are a click away increases.
What's great about it: Love the organized, logical approach; the straightforward, easy-to-understand questions
What's not so great: this year my cons (fixing forms without going through guidance again) were all addressed.

As a retiree on Social Security with several stock investments and transactions, I was dreading the stock sales part of my return. I was pleasantly surprised when I found the option to import all of the required information from my brokerage. I simply entered my account login and in under 10 seconds, all of my stock sales information including short and long term gains along with purchase and sale dates was automatically entered into my tax return. That was it, I was finished with the stock sales part of my return. I am a very happy camper!! I also like that when you use TurboTax each year, your prior years information is imported eliminating the need for you to type in your personal info and W2 or 1099 originator info. I have been using TurboTax for over 10 years and it keeps getting better (easier to use) each year.
What's great about it: Simple to import my stock transactions from my brokerage.
What's not so great: State e-file was not included. (Federal e-file was included)
Pros: I bought or sold investments

This was the first time I used Turbo Tax and I found it extremely convenient to use, easy to navigate back and forth, save for future use without any crashes or loss of information/data, responsive on clicks with excellent interface, and quick to import documents, save, and make payments!
What's great about it: Quick, easy and effortless
What's not so great: FAQs and Support options can be advertised better for clarifications on tax questions

Same great format with some added perks.
I like how easy Turbo Tax has made the health care section. A few clicks of a button and I was done. A friend told me she tried the paper forms and gave up.
Your explanation that the HSA contributions labeled as "employer contributions" also included the employee contributions was a life saver. I was concerned my company had messed up my W-2 but after reading your explanation, which included some humor, I had no more worries.
Well Done!
.
What's great about it: Gives you the option of walking through the process or selecting items to review.
What's not so great: Going to put tax accountants out of business.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
