So easy!

Turbotax is amazing. I don't know what I would do without their step by step guidance. I can't imagine an easier or better way to complete my tax return.

Better this year

Despite all the alarming reports of online security breaches, we still went with TurboTax for the 10th straight year. Of course, we still buy the CD product rather than starting out online, which could be safer ... while we spent about 12 hours on returns, that was mainly because we had a new investment in another state and with other investments there were a lot of details to attend to; still, we made it and probably save $400-$500 doing our returns ourselves.
What's great about it: Helped us through difficult expenses, assets and depreciation
What's not so great: A few explanations were confusing and not all questions online have answers
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Major time saver!!

With turbo tax I was able to finish my taxes quickly and feel secure that my tax forms were error free.
What's great about it: fast and effecient!!!
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax to the Rescue

I LOVE Turbo Tax! I couldn't do my taxes without you!
What's great about it: Easy to use...everything was inputted from last year, so it only took me about an hour to do my taxes!
What's not so great: I think Turbo Tax is smarter than me. :(

Over the years I have been able to keep up with changes to my filing requirements thanks to Turbo Tax; it is thorough, versatile and easy to use.
What's great about it: Thorough, versatile and easy to use.
What's not so great: Not all data carries over.

TT is great (been using TT since 2000 or earlier...will never change that)! Don't like not being able to move around as easily between areas, as TT kicks me back to beginning of area if back used. Moving forward correctly this year is key. Search on help is not as smooth as before. Not sure why, but it doesn't yield pointed results.
PIN is difficult to have it accepted...hope it works this year. Last year I still had to mail it in after 4 tries and no PIN acceptance. It may be how IRS and TT work together. This is by far the only real issue that is a deal breaker.

Great Product

Every year, Turbo Tax just gets better and easier to use. The in-program help is very informative and seems to provide very complete information.
What's great about it: Makes preparing my tax return much easier.
What's not so great: Should be easier to return to where you left off after going back to review or edit a previous entry.

My 2014 Turbo Experience

I switched to Turbo Tax 10 years ago. It has made filing taxes normal vice a chore that is avoided until the last moment even if I am getting a return of funds. I will continue using Turbo Tax unless tax filing becomes obsolete or something better becomes available.
What's great about it: Electronic ability
What's not so great: Long process, must read thoroughly
