Good Product

I've used TT for 15 years. I continue to enjoy the Step-By-Step ease of use with the option of going directly to the forms. I find it very useful that TT imports info from Quicken and from last years tax information.
I was very upset about having to pay extra for an upgrade, until Intuit made it right without extra cost.
I really miss being able to print off a Two-Year Comparison and the Tax History Report that was available in previous years.
What's great about it: Ease of Use
What's not so great: Initial need to upgrade. Can't print Tax History info.

Part way through my return when I was prompted that Delux wasn"t the correct Turbo Tax and had to get Premier.
I had paid for one and now paid for two. However, I was refunded for the additional cost but it took a while on the phone to make this happen.

Issues in Using TurboTax 2014 Premier

My 2013 data was only partially imported, although data for 2010-2012 appeared in the summary (used TurboTax for these years). The IP PIN instructions, when IP PIN entered in the search box, took me back to the same search answer, not the menu to enter the IP PIN (continuous loop). When I entered "identity protection pin" in the search box (not "IP PIN" per the instructions), it took me to the correct menu. I am assuming the return was accepted; I will not kow this until I receive confirmation.
What's great about it: Easy entry of data
What's not so great: Did not import 2013 data, difficulty in entering IP Pin

Turbo tax rocks!

I've used Turbo Tax programs for many years now and I am confident that I am able to maximize my return value while also minimizing liabilities and eliminating entry and calculation errors. Also, the "Audit Defense" option adds to my sense of protection.
What's great about it: Ease of use. Options to review and revisit entries. Help options do exactly that - they provide very helpful informatio

It took me about an hour to find a work around. TurboTax should have fixed this by now. You really should have a direct customer support contact.

What's not so great: My state return would ot work for retirement exclusion

Too simple!

I would like you to bring out a product like your premier that you can buy on a CD earlier in the year and load on PC that will help you make better year end decisions like how much to take out of IRA and should I take profits on a stock? To me this is a guessing game every year to keep from paying more taxes than you should. Remember DEC. 31 is the dead line not April 15 for that. Something that you can punch numbers in to get an Idea of what taxes you will pay. Also to find adjusted gross income for our land taxes here in FL. You must stay under a certain amount to qualify for land tax breaks. I will definitely buy it! Thanks
