Convent way to process the tax information with common language. However, program does have some confusing elements and explanations. Overall very good. Only, the program should offer both federal and state tax E-filing for the cost of the p[roduct.
What's great about it: Step by step process, easy to complete
What's not so great: Sometimes confusing with unclearn explanation. Cost of product should include E-file for both federal and state returns.

I think I first entered something wrong on the 1099-B that I got and I couldn't get an answer as to how to correct it. I only had one property , which was Bonds that had matured but it kept asking me for the Descriptions of up to 8 properties I still do not know how to correct this..
What's great about it: liked the help it gives you
What's not so great: Would like to talk to someone about amendingcertain forms like my 1099-b

Same problem every year

The Maryland return is incorrect because it does not automatically or manually provide the federal tax exempt value which should be a taxable addition to the Maryland return. To make it worse, when I correct the Maryland return with an over-ride, I cannot then send the return electronically.
What's great about it: federal return is fine.
What's not so great: State return has a problem

Not Happy with turbotax

I have always been happy with turbotax. However, when I bought the version I needed this year I had to upgrade over last year which is a big reason I may not go with turbotax again. I had to upgrade again when I was preparing my taxes because the version I had upgraded to was not enough to take care of some of my tax items. In other words I had to upgrade 2 steps to do the same thing I had done in prior years with the package I used previously.

Kept asking for the name and number of an S corp that I don't have and would not let me file without putting in a name.
What's not so great: It asks questions that don't apply and can't be deleted.

Mostly Awesome

Everything I have used the software for is great except the following item:
Entering information about exercise of NQ stock options was a pain. The software was unable to collect all the necessary information automatically. I had to dig into lots of paperwork to find the right information.
Other than that, I haven't had a problem with it. I will sure use it next year.

couldn't open certain parts. worst version yet....stick with an earlier version much easier

The ability to get on the Intuit site and log in was not easy. The stock purchase/sell section is not easy to use if you have options.
