Great Program

I've used Turbo Tax for 20+ years and am very satisfied with the product. Never have to worry about the information being right as long as I enter it correctly.

Fantastic Experience

I'm so glad that I used TurboTax a few years back. Since then, I have used them every year and the experience has been nothing short of fantastic. They make the process so easy compared to doing it on my own or taking to an accountant. I will NEVER use anything else for my tax preparation and definitely recommend everyone else to check it out and see if it is the BEST! Thank you TurboTax!
What's great about it: TurboTax proves every year that the are the best tax preparation company out there.

easy to use

I'm single and ez filing is what I use with a standard deduction. Took me about 10 minutes to import all the information.

Turbotax Premier 2014

i was forced to upgrade to the premier version this year even though I didn't have any different tax issues. $30.00 more for the upgrade but only $25.00 refunded. The apology email didn't sound sincere.

Even I could do it!

I used the Turbotax desktop version. I was able to download it from my account easy, I just followed the instructions. I had no issues with following the easy questions. I will use it again next year.
What's great about it: I have an easy return and your software was simple to follow and I had clear direction on how to enter my information.
What's not so great: I had to pay state to e-file. But paper filing is free.

Not great if receive a 1099S

1099S entry information is not intuitive. It is buried and required way too much research to complete the information. Should be user friendly. Program was biased for individuals with stock/bond sales receiving a 1099B.

Easy as usual

Good solid program. Easy to use and have for years. I believe since 2009. Had to go to premier because of changes in deluxe. Do appreciate rebate for forced upgrade.
What's great about it: Easy step by step directions
What's not so great: had to upgrade because features changed on deluxe
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Hummmmm

When I entered my rental property income in the Guide Me method I was told TurboTax would ask me about expenses later. It never did. Fortunately I realized that and filled out the information in the Forms mode.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Did not automatically handle schedule E
