Awesome tool

Great Tool. Saved hundreds by filing myself. Used the Premier version to handle all my needs.
Very good for the price. Wish the efiling for state was included in the price.
Have used this tool for last 10 years now. Will keep using..

What's great about it: intuitive, accurate and Simple even for complex returns
What's not so great: e-filing of state returns cost extra

Allocation of foreign tax paid.

My experience with turbo tax help was in two areas technical software and the tax area itself. Over all the results were very good not excellent but the attitude of the staff to help me was excellent to outstanding. Renee was truly outstanding.
What's great about it: I was finally connected to a tax area consultant Renee who was outstanding in knowledge and action to take.
What's not so great: The Turbo Tax SW didn't allow designation of the source of data
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

found it alarming when it waited so long after asking for W2 data to ask for 1099R data. Found it confusing that it never differentiated between asking for pension data vs. IRA data. Not a big problem, just left me a little apprehensive.

Have been using TT since 1997 - BIG help with investments, rental property and self-employment. All other software pales in comparison!
What's great about it: Liked it all - getting better each year! Fast, accurate, easy to use!
What's not so great: Costs for Extra State and State e-filing!

What's not so great: The confusing titles from which to choose; don't do that again!

TurboTax 2014 Deluxe Federal/State

TurboTax is great. It is easy to use; loads the last year's return and is a solid software platform that I have used for more than 9 years. Keep up the good work.
I really hope that sanity prevails and TurboTax continues to support Schedule D/Stock Sales in its Deluxe edition. If not, I'll switch rather than pay the extra $$$ for the higher level edition. It is a matter of principle.
What's great about it: Easy to use, easy to follow
What's not so great: Initially did not support Schedule D; BIG PROBLEM; but finally did listen to long time customers like me
