Quick and easy!

Exceptional. Everyone in my family uses it now when they saw how quick and easy it was for me. A great value.
What's great about it: Transferring data from previous years makes it quick & painless
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

LOVE!

I have been using turboTax for years! I love the software. It enables me to do my taxes when I want to (I used to use a tax company). We have rentals, and I was very worried about accurate taxes- answer the questions and TurboTax does the rest!
What's great about it: VERY easy to use, real time tax refund info as you go, up-to-date tax info
What's not so great: Ummmmm...
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo Refund

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and has been always accurate and easy to use. I electronically filed my taxes 15 minutes before writing this review and as I'm writing it I received a message from Turbo Tax that the IRS accepted My return. GREAT!!!

InterFace needs work

(1) the mortgage interest page presented the entire amount of the amortized points-added to the annual interest for an incorrect 2014 total, and
(2) one of the summary pages displayed several line-item totals
that I still don't know where they came from.....

But, thanks tothe "Forms" feature, the correct amounts, calculations and final numbers were all as they should be.
MY only complaint is the erroneous & misleading info given on the Step-by-Step pages noted caused angst, confusion as to what was going on, and extra time needed to be sure the REAL info was reported. Clean up these stumbles and you'll have a near-perfect 5-star rating!
What's great about it: The core program is, as always, fantastic; but....
What's not so great: the Step-by-Step interface did not always get it right.....

Easy preperation, confusing level changes

I have used TurboTax for 15+ years and always used Deluxe. This years changes were confusing and I bought Premium; not sure if I really needed it. The program is easy to use and pretty straight forward. If you have unusual circumstances you will need to research more, but there are plenty of resources available; including the community which can point you in the right direction.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, Itsdeductable, import from last year
What's not so great: Difference between Deluxe and Premium confusing

Good but could be better

Overall the program was great, however, I did not like the fact that if you chose the start all tab at the top of the group of tabs and that group based on the first question really did not apply to you, you were moved out of that section and on to the next section, but none of the tabs changed to let you know that you had already visited those tabs and they did not apply. Also, I did not like the fact that after each section was completed, you were push all the way back to the top of the page and you would have to scroll back down to the next section. Again the skipped sections from my first issue would then make it hard to figure out just which sections you had been in and which ones you might have skipped over by accident. I ended up going through many extra steps that I didn't need to, just so the tab would change and I could tell I didn't need to go back into that tab.
I did really like that there is no longer a bank transfer fee and that there is no e-file fee.

What's not so great: not smooth, not touch screen compatable

FANTABULOUS

This was by far the easiest and fastest doing my taxes has EVER been! Thank you Turbo Tax for making me feel like I knew what I was doing, and giving me the confidence to do it!
