What's great about it: Worked very well
What's not so great: One complaint : it is not straight forward to file by mail the state return and it is obvious this is intentional

What's great about it: Have usesed TurboTax for the last 5 years. Like the easy step by step instructions. Wish I would had used it sooner .

complicated for babysitters

frustrating when you don't have a W-2 for babysitting when you must go through the W-2 screen. had to use 11-1111111 since no Employer ID number exists
What's great about it: fast and easy walk throughs
What's not so great: doesn't give help when employer has no employer ID #
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I Dread Tax Time

I am a long time user of Turbo Tax and I have had better results at less cost than when I used a CPA
What's great about it: Leads me step by step through the maze of tax preparation. Excellent error checking process
What's not so great: I still have to do it

TurboTax Review

TurboTax seemed to be very good as usual. I will continue to have foreign tax, foreign income and QDI eligible foreign income through mutual funds in the future. So, I would appreciate good coverage of this information.
What's great about it: I like to keep track of what has been completed. I bounce around entering all my assorted documents first.
What's not so great: TurboTax did not seem to have good coverage of foreign tax, foreign income and QDI eligible foreign income.

Love Turbo Tax

Would not want to pay extra for capital gains and other stock transactions.
What's great about it: So easy- makes the decisions for me
What's not so great: Almost lost the ability to file stock information
