Great Experience with Turbo Cad

I love this software, if I don't understand something, links provide info that would provide clarity of the topic. Overall, I've been using this program for over 5 years, and can't see myself using anything else. If possible, it would be nice, to simply update Turbo tax during the new tax season, instead of having to drive to the store to buy a new program every-time. Thank you very much!
What's great about it: Software Updates, reliability, Guarantees.
What's not so great: e-file Fees for State Return

2015 form 1040-ES

I was accidentally choose this option in the federal tax filing. When I print out tax file before e-filing, it shows I have to pay federal with held tax on April 2015, June 2015, Sep 2015, and Jan 2016. I try to cancel this part but I can't cancel it at the time. It took my the whole night to figure out how to cancel it. I even went to turbo tax help but it didn't help. Finally, I use very simple way to delete all the informations and redo the tax from beginning.
What's not so great: it is very stressful section in Turbotax. It's very difficult to cancel.
Pros: I had a baby, I bought or sold investments

Totally surprised by the limit of returns you are able to e-file. Should be told before new return is started. Then you continued to lead me on by asking to e-file state return, take my credit card info. and then afterwards state that it can't be e-filed without the Federal return being e-file. What's up with that!!!!
What's great about it: Fairly easy.
What's not so great: Surprise at the end.

it is misleading to say "one free state" when this does not include state e-file
What's great about it: ease of use
What's not so great: Price, fact I had to pay for state e-file when it says one free state

Overall, worked just as well as it has for the last 10 years, but the upgrade cost to Premier because of our investments was disappointing.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, instructions are clear
What's not so great: Disaapointed I had to pay for Premier upgrade for investments when I had never had to do that before
Pros: I bought or sold investments

VITA Volunteer

I have used TurboTax from its earliest days and it gets better every year. Changes are usually very intuitive and not hard to follow. I am a Volunteer Income Tax preparer in our library, using the IRS supplied Taxwise software. TurboTax is much easier to use. If there is a way to download financial institution on Taxwise it is not part of the IRS training and is not obvious in any way. It is a feature Taxwise should adopt for ease of use, speed and accuracy. TurboTax is way ahead.
What's great about it: Download financial institution detail files, security, previous year transfer and easy filing
What's not so great: Internet connection for credit card payment fluky.

Time Saving Product

The ability to transfer gain and loss data directly into Turbo Tax from brokerage accounts is both a huge time saver and tremendous accuracy enhancer! With regard to real estate, the ease of entering information related to rental properties is excellent and the format is well designed. The way that the program tracks depreciation expenses from year to year is also most helpful!
What's great about it: Import features from stock brokerage firms, ease of entering rental real estate data in a step-by-step format,
What's not so great: The charge to e-file state tax returns is too high!
Pros: I bought or sold investments
