Very disappointed

So disappointed in this years versions. The normal version I purchased included the Short Sale but not the Sale of the house. I returned it and I purchased the next version and it did not include Free State filing.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: Sale of house not in normal version I purchase.

Thank you enormously for this tax program. This will be my seventh time as tt user. If not for this, I'd be lost trying to do my tax return. It just gets surreally complicated every year and I dread it when tax season comes. And you made it so simple even a dumb person like me would understand and follow step-by-step direction.

Good instrustions

Regarding the K1 (form 1065) the description of some entries did not match your wording. I had trouble figuring out which line to use to enter the numbers. I ended up with a half dozen incorrect entries. It took me about 4 hours to figure out where I had erred.
Other than that, the going was very easy. Thank you for a great product. I'll give you an A. Fix my problem and next year you'll get an A+.

Tax Filing

Needed to file manually (Federal) but was told okay to file the State (Hawaii). I was charged the fee and paid it for electronic filing but was told the E-Filing did not go thru, not clear on the reason so I am out the E-Filing Fee and am filing it manually. There is no real clear way to contact you directly.
What's great about it: Ease of Use
What's not so great: Lack of Clarity

Excellent Help

Investments that were part of a trust was liquidated in 2014 needed to be reported. I normally use the Turbo Tax Deluxe, but because of this liquidation, Turbo automatically offered to upgrade to premier and seamlessly transferred all the data.
What's great about it: Ended up with a capital gain and Turbo Tax automatically upgraded to handle this.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Hidden Charge for Upgrade to Premier from Deluxe

I was very unhappy with having to pay for an upgrade during my return. I'm going back to read an email about it and hope I get reimbursed or I'm changing software next year.

Good product

I have always love Turbo Tax. it's the only product I use. However, certain things make me sad. Example, i try deleting a form, it wouldn't let me. Seems like there was a bug. It was a form I manually added; but, I had a hard time deleting it. I wanted to delete it because I found a better way to do so.
What's great about it: I have been using Turbo Tax for 20 years
What's not so great: Few things that does not make it easier
