Easy to Use

I have used Turbo Tax for 14 years. This year I was disappointed that I had to upgrade to premier because we have a small business and have a K-1 for income. I was very glad it was a free upgrade this year. In the past we did not have to have premier. We have been loyal customers for many years and suggested many of our friends to use Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Easy to use, access to help
What's not so great: Had to upgrade for business.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: Downloading was easy and a pleasant experience. Software is much improved; no glitches this year.

Not as user friendly

My overall experience was the lowest since I began using turbotax. Difficulty transferring my cloud based 2013 return into my computer based 2014 version. Deluxe version has been cheapened to force purchase of premier version.
What's great about it: Bringing last year's return into current year
What's not so great: Hostage to buying the premier version

2014 TurboTax

Although TurboTax continues to be my tax software of choice I hope in future years, changes associated to versions are better explained! My software of choice vendor will immediately change if poor communication occurs in the future.
What's great about it: Easy to work with!
What's not so great: TurboTax not upfront with regard to changes in versions of software with regard to filing with associated sale of bonds,

Import feature is neat. Brings over last years info. Really like the import feature for the stocks, beats the tar out of entering all those sales and figuring the basis.
What's great about it: Step by step is helpful
