It's Turbotax - you know what to expect

Turbo Tax 2014

I got a few glitches on update/upgrade. But it eventually went through. All nice features as before plus a few more.
IRS rule changes were quite annoying, but that is on IRS, not TurboTax.
Please be careful on that Deluxe version fiasco. One more stunt like that and I may be gone.

What's great about it: Same good feature as usual, plus a bit more. ACA requirements are added simlessly.
What's not so great: Whos good idea is that to cause the Deluxe version confusion? You lost a few of my friends and colleagues.

Mostly good and quick

In switching between View Forms and Step-by-step, when I re-enter step-by-step, I have to click a lot of "Continue" buttons to get back to where I was. This is true for both Federal and State returns.
What's great about it: Generally quick
What's not so great: Would like the system to take me where I left off
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Dependable and fairly easy to navigate

For the first time in many years of using Turbo Tax I had to call customer service because the payment process would not work to purchase the 2nd state I needed, then again when I was efiling and requested to pay by credit card. Both times the service representatives were extremely helpful, patient and determined to fix the problem. They stayed with me on the phone until it was resolved.
I think TB is a fairly easy program to use (I use Premier) but sometimes find it difficult when I want to go back and review a specific area. It is easy to find the broad topics but not as easy to find very specific areas within the topics. Also some errors are very confusing as to how to fix them. The Help online is somewhat "helpful" and I eventually figure it out.

What's great about it: The fact that it transfers your information from year to year. The interview process is good.
What's not so great: Getting back to specific areas on your return can be confusing

Overall rating is Satisfactory. The opening screen caused confusion - loading pgm for first time versus running it versus getting an update. I don't need a Form K-1, but couldn't figure out how to delete it.
What's great about it: Computations were very speedy; telling what's next was helpful. Presentation was OK; nothing to get really excited about
What's not so great: On Mac, intro screen was confusing. Once pgm is loaded, change the screen.

Importing from Schwab

Just as last year there were a few spaces left blank during the import from Schwab. I really had to just guess at what should go in the empty spaces so it left me feeling a little unsure.
What's great about it: Most of the imports work fine
What's not so great: The imports for Schwab always leave a few spaces blank
Pros: I bought or sold investments

AWFUL - TURBOTAX SECURITY IS POOR

I WENT TO FILE MY TAXES, ONLY TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE HAD FILED VIA TURBOTAX UNDER MY SSN. AHHH! FIX YOUR POOR SECURITY.
What's great about it: 80% IS EASY TO DO, IMPORTING LAST YEARS DATA
What's not so great: TOO EASY FOR SOMEONE TO STEAL YOUR ID, FILE FALSE TAX REFUND
