I have uses TurboTax for years and will continue to do so.
What's not so great: Had a bit of trouble with a K1 from an MLP but finally figured it out.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My 2014 Tax

I am totally disgusted with the huge increase in cost. I do not have rental property, but do have investments and am most upset for having to pay so much more just because of investments. I definitely am not a Happy Camper.

Unusual Experience

Unusual for TurboTax not to be up front in announcing changes to their software package. This snafu spoiled what would have been an uneventful experience.
What's great about it: Once again taxes made easy.

Falls flat with complex filings

There is a lot of data that doesn't get carried over from the previous year TT interview to the current one. For example, every year I have to re-enter information about an inherited IRA and associated RMD which should be carried over and displayed merely for review/edit purposes. On the state side I have income from a state other than my home state, so I have to file two state returns, which means paying for a second TT state. Unfortunately, the non-resident state program always confuses me due to the horrible TT interview guidance. I also find it absurd that I have to enter zero in a bunch of interview fields when they don't apply.
What's not so great: Limited previous year data import, horrible state program guidance

I would like to see more that one year tax comparing. Five years would be a great. A person can get a better picture of how they are during in managing life. Are they staying the same or they making more or less money.
What's great about it: Easy transfer of information from previous year.
What's not so great: Not knowing what it cost to e-file a state return at the end of the filing process
