Great Product even though I had to pay

Good product. I've used it for many years. Since they added the ability to download information from my broker and bank and have "ItsDeductible" things have gotten much easier.
What's great about it: Downloads investment info so I don't have to type
What's not so great: Price keeps going up

A Guide Through The Maze

The tax code is unbelievable complex but Turbo Tax made it completely manageable. This year I got through both the Federal and State in record time. The export function was a real timesaver. I see the improvement year over year.
What's great about it: Straightforward Path to Address all Complicated Tax Issues
What's not so great: Guide through Foreign Exclusion Deduction still a little unclear but improved from years past with no glitches this year
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Dissapointed

This will be likely my last year for Turbotax. Yes, I was financially compensated for forms deleted from Turbotax Deluxe but the hassle of obtaining the forms and applying for compensation wasn't worth it.
Year by year, Turbotax has become harder to use beyond the tax preparation and filing. Formerly the software initiated a dialogue on preparing for the next years taxes, including tips for minimizing taxes, leading one through the next year's estimated tax, etc.
Secondly, I live in Florida but instead of recognizing my residence in a state that has no income tax, I was asked repeatedly about whether I wanted to prepare the state income tax.

Tax in a Snap

I feel assured and confident that my taxes will be done correctly with Turbo Tax. It finds deductions that you did not know about. A great feature is the deduction for donations where it gives you a value for your deductions!
What's great about it: TurboTax leads you step by step. Turb Tax finds deductions that you were not aware of.
What's not so great: When advancing to the next topic, it brings you to the top page of previous topics; you have to scroll to the bottom

PROBABLY WILL NOT USE TURBOTAX AGAIN. MUCH EASIER TO JUST GO TO AN ACCOUNTANT.
What's great about it: PREMIER NOT WORTH MONEY, STATE FILE CHARGES ARE EXCESSIVE.
What's not so great: CONFUSING IN SOME AREAS, TOO REGID IN THAT SONE==ME CHOICES ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO SKIP IRRELEVANT SECTIONS

Good but some problems

Turbotax is thorough and the step-by-step guidance is great. However, I was surprised that it didn't import the 2013 state refund amount correctly. I had to manually double-check and enter the correct data even though I had filed my 2013 returns using turbotax and the 2013 files were on my computer. Turbotax did import that name, SSN, etc correctly from the old return.
This was an unpleasant surprise and leaves me wondering whether there are other errors that Turbotax might have made, which I didn't catch during my manual review.
What's great about it: clear step by step instructions
What's not so great: didn't import 2013 state refund correctly
