The Best!

I am so pleased with this program. I've used it for 5 years, now, and have ZERO complaints. I had to call Customer Service this year and they gentleman had all the answers to get my returns e-filed. He was pleased to help me and it was taken care of in an instant.
What's great about it: Remembers all my last year's information so I don't forget an item

Getting expensive

Cost of the product is up from last year and we have to pay 24.99 to e-file the state return. Use to be a great product and deal, getting too expensive (or greedy). Lets include the free state e-file next year.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: What happened to one free state efile?
Pros: I bought or sold investments

More simple than ever

Over nearly two decades, I have been extremely pleased in Turbo Tax. They make every aspect of doing and sending my taxes easy. I even went to a professional tax preparer for Tax Year 2013 when I thought that I was off my return that including reporting the sale of a rental property that I had. But because I was using Turbo Tax, I had no issues that he could help me with. While we spent about 30 minutes discussing golf, I was charged nothing for his time. Thanks to Turbo Tax and a little preparation and research by me. This Year (2014) was as easy as always, if not easier.
What's great about it: Ease of inputting everything using step by step method
What's not so great: Can't think of a con

Great Tax Software will be a consistent customer unless you change the system.

I think Turbotax has got it down well. The inputs are easy and there is the option to have the system walk you through the items line by line or allow you to enter information wholesale if you already know what it is that you need to do. I typically fit in the latter category so it makes finishing my taxes a breeze!
What's great about it: Simple, easy layout, and accurate descriptions
What's not so great: Sometimes to change one thing, you have to go through several menus

Thorough and easy to use

I use Turbo Tax Premier every year. The software is very user friendly and easy to use. The features improve each year. I appreciate all the links to additional information if I have questions about terminology or what qualifications need to be met for a specific deduction type. I highly recommend this product to friends and family.
What's great about it: thorough explanations, ability to go back or to a specific item
What's not so great: state e-fiing option should be less expensive
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Love that it leads you through all of the categories and makes sure you don't miss anything.
