Great again this year... but K1s still a problem

Excellent... been using it for 15 years I think. Sales mixup with Deluxe and next version up was a mess. Still don't know how I am getting $ back given I have to mail my returns
What's great about it: calc are quick, excellent error checking, step-by-step excellent
What's not so great: K1s still a hassle to input, TTx not too helpful trying to fix K1 problems it found

Tubo Tax

Have used TT for years and love it!! Can be hard to pinpoint certain forms. I had one form from my return last year that I did not need this year and I could not figure out how to delete it from this years return. No big deal but I think that should be easier especially if I am not entering values for that form. Otherwise love it!
What's great about it: Easy!!

Almost painless

I don't like doing taxes but this program does make it bearable. It steps you thru each category so you don't miss anything. If you discover you entered the wrong amount when doing a review it's easy to make the correction and the software updates all the calculations. Sure is a time saver.
What's great about it: Step by step and changes are quick

Turbo Tax is simple and easy to understand. I do not know how much simpler it can be.
What's great about it: easy

Good experience, except for 1 state

Generally a good experience except when it came to a major problem with one state's return. That return had to be manually corrected.
What's great about it: Guide and questions requesting information were good.
What's not so great: Info for Michigan return was not pulled correctly from the Federal Schedule E.

Always used Deluxe in past; bought Premier this year before confusion was settled. I found that Premier provided no advantage over Deluxe version. I only have investment income.
What's great about it: able to import K1 from LP and 1099 from brokerage
What's not so great: reconciling K1 amounts to brokerage report very confusing
