Glitch

Turbotax 2014 Premier edition has a glitch. I was preparing my niece/nephew's return. Initially, I did it as married filing separating and then went back and changed the filing status to married filing together to see the difference in the return amount. I had to go back through every item all over again and still came out with a refund/amount owed that did not make sense. I ended up having to delete the return and re-entering it all over again. I major hassle.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Periodic glitches you can't get around

I've used Turbo Tax for at least 10 years now. It's wonderful, clear and easy. I love that I can input data as I get it and save to finish later. Turbo Tax interfaces seamlessly & imports data from It's Deductable also.
Barbara from the help line had to help me resolve an unusual, but major issue with getting the CD to load on my 7 year old Toshiba laptop. The main problem was with McAfee. She never gave up & had to get the IT department involved also. She stepped me through each step (had to create a new email, switch to firefox...). Barbara stayed with me through the whole thing. Excellent customer service and she went above and beyond even my expectations.
What's great about it: Very clear, easy to follow prompts. Extra information available with a click or phone call. Works with It's Deductable.
What's not so great: Trouble loading CD on my laptop. However Barbara (hope I remembered her name correctly) fixed the problem (McAfee)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Hopefully the 2014 info will import easier to the 2015 tax year. Other than that I am very satisfied.

Smooth Tax Filing Experience

TurboTax takes a step by step approach to a very complicated process and reduces the confusion as much as is possible. Used TurboTax for years and have never had an issue. The available tax experts are very knowledgeable and any time a question has been asked of them, a comprehensive reply has always been received.
What's great about it: Covers all of the tax categories and simplifies a complicated process.
What's not so great: None that I can think of

Each Year Taxes Get Easier

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years....It seems to be getting easier & easier to do each year even though our tax & family circumstances have changed over this periiod.
What's great about it: Orderly Process
What's not so great: A lot to cover

State efile charges

Put the State email filing costs upfront. It's annoying backtracking to cancel once the real costs are revealed.
What's great about it: Excellent as usual. Gets better every year.
What's not so great: The fee for State email filing is on the very last page.

TT 2014 Premier

I have been filed my income tax using TT for the past 8 years,
TT is a very good and precise tax software. But there is the installation issue of TT 2014 Premier on the same PC with Windows Vista having annoyed me quite a bit since I wasted a lot of time (~6 hrs.) to search / check online for solution before I gave up and installed into another PC with Windows 7, then everything went through smoothly. Now I completed both Fed and CA returns.
TT is a very good and precise tax software. But there is the installation issue of TT 2014 Premier on the same PC with Windows Vista having annoyed me quite a bit since I wasted a lot of time (~6 hrs.) to search / check online for solution before I gave up and installed into another PC with Windows 7, then everything went through smoothly. Now I completed both Fed and CA returns.
What's great about it: very thorough, quick and simple walking through every question
What's not so great: having issues with Windows Vista OS at installation. Installed in Windows 7 PC is OK
