I have used Turbo Tax for the past 10 years and each year it seems to get better. As a person who would rather prepare her own tax returns, I find that TurboTax makes tax time very nearly stress free.
I would recommend TurboTax to anyone
What's great about it: Easy to follow, concise but thorough directions and explanations
What's not so great: I can't itemize, and this year I had to buy Premier since DeLuxe did not include the stock/capital gains package.

Perfect every time

TurboTax has been my tax filing software for over 20 years. I appreciate their efforts to remain current with the tax laws which allow me to file a complete & accurate return.
What's great about it: Quick, Easy, Thorough
What's not so great: Getting pricey

Excellent product, I have used since my individual tax course in college in 1992 required by course professor.
What's great about it: user friendly
What's not so great: limited electronic filings (I file returns for immediate family unable to work on their own)
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Other than the brokerage small items missing, its one awesome program! Can you imagine doing this by hand, no, it would drive anybody whacky.

Works as advertised. Been using TT for over 5 years and plan to continue.
What's great about it: TT looks for every possibility pertaining to taxes.
What's not so great: Can think of anything I don't like.

I can't understand why anyone would pay someone to do there taxes when they use the same software.
What's great about it: Walks you though every step
