Quick & Easy

Overall ... great software that does not miss covering everything (assuming you follow the step-by-step process) to be sure that you maximize your refund and avoid penalties for under-reporting.
What's great about it: Step-by-step cover all the bases to avoid missing anything ,,,, good or bad.
What's not so great: Ability to quickly reference IRS documents for definitions and explanations is not always transparent

Excellent DYI tool

My tax situation is not overly complicated, but has sufficient complexity to bother me. I used to go mad trying to do it by paper or my other choice was o shell out big bucks for an accountant. Even after all that, I used to have a nagging doubt that I may have missed something - either did not claim a refund that is available to me or missed some crucial item which would result in review and audit.
TurboTax makes it step-by-step procedure very easy to follow.
Moreover, I can always save my work and return to it later to finish it. Best of all, I have the peace of mind that I've not missed anything.

Why I Came Back

For the past few years I had been using a tax service for my tax preparation - cost me money, never got a refund, always had to file an extension. This year I came back to Turbo Tax, I'm done before April 15th and apparently I have a refund coming back. What more is there to say but, I'll be back for next year.
What's great about it: clear instructions, quick, complete coverage
What's not so great: going back to review entries/errors a little clunky

Needed to use Premier

Some common processing got moved to the more expensive version.

Just Love it!

I have been using Quicken and its products since 1992. Turbo Tax is the only product I have ever used to file taxes because they walk you through every step. It is safe, secure and spot on for accuracy of all federal and state laws.
What's great about it: NO muss, no fuss; they walk you right through everything

2014 TT IMHO

I have used TT for years, and really like it. It is easy to use, and navigate through, accurate, and complete. I like the forms view, at any time. I like the ability to streamline completion, in any order, without being forced to follow a lengthy dialogue. It just seems to "work", like Apple products. If we must do taxes, TT makes it much easier. My taxes have been somewhat complex at times, but I have never needed an accountant. I like the free Federal e-file, and wish State e-file was free too. If so, I would use it. After paying for the TT product, I am not inclined to pay $25 more for state e-file. All in all, a great product.
What's great about it: easy, accurate, complete, forms view, easy to navigate
What's not so great: only 1 complaint- seems to try to force e-file of state, or at least make it difficult to avoid.

State has been a nightmare

What's not so great: I still haven't finished the state of Ohio and am very unhappy
