SYSTEM RAN WELL IN CALCULATING TAXES. WOULD NOT SELF RESTART AFTER UPDATING AND HAD TO HAVE SUPPORT IN DOWNLOADING 2 DIFFERENT STATE FORMS.
What's great about it: DID THE TAXES AS EXPECTED
What's not so great: DFFICULT TO GET DOWNLOADS

Turbotax is an excellent tool that has allowed me to file my taxes with little risk of error-- Keep selling and improving the product!!

1. CO rejection error of not citing CO state as residence is in error. Have been a CO resident since 1974. No previous problem with this situation.
2. Sate withholding of $2,000 on CO Tax Form 104 is incorrect. Form 1099-R cites $2,400 withheld by Defense Finance and Accounting Service for entire 2014 tax year.
What's not so great: Too difficult to make corrections for TurboTax errors.

I think Ill just A write A check and send it in with my return,thank you for not doing the whole job. I have been using turbatax for several years, but I dont think Ill use it again..... OLDSYGONE
What's great about it: Was OK untill we got to the filing pin number, check it out.was easy untill i got the filing.
What's not so great: nothing this year

Long Time User Disappointed

I have been a user of Turbo Tax since it was introduced in the 80's as a DOS product. A few years ago I was disappointed when you put in a provision that the return could only be printed from the computer that the software was installed on. You quickly backed away from that move. Now with this years product you try to pull a fast one again that you had to back away from.
Next year I will not buy your product if there are any surprises.
Pretty sad outlook from a LONG TIME USER!!
What's great about it: Easy to navigate, like Its deductible, found tax savings I overlooked
What's not so great: When going through the step by step, it returns to the top of the list instead of where you were working.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Overall, good as usual.
What's great about it: Always easy to walk through and Turbo seems to cover all possibilities
What's not so great: The section on 1099-B with adjustment codes was confusing andnot helpful. I had to Google it to find the correct answer

No Stress Tax Prep!

I have been using Turbo Tax for the last five years, and have been very pleased with this product.
This year's return was even easier than before; Turbo Tax pulls all of the information from last year's return so you don't have to type in the same thing all over again. It was simple to import all of our banking and employment information, as well.
With a complicated tax situation- active duty military spouse, two different states of residence, two rental properties- I have peace of mind that my taxes are correct.
Highly recommend!
What's great about it: easy, pulled info from last year's return, clear directions
What's not so great: still some confusion with our state tax situation
