Great Tax Software!

This is my 10th year in a row using Turbo Tax. I have never encountered any issues so far. I know I what I will be using next year! Thanks for such a great product.
What's great about it: Continually exceeds my expectations!
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great - used it for years

Great product even for a complicated return like mine. I've used it for the last 20+ years and will use it in the future.
What's great about it: Questions are easy to understand and help is readily available
What's not so great: At times, answers to questions are a bit brief
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Would not Efile state return

I got stuck in an unresolvable loop trying to file my Nebraska state tax - it kept showing me errors that I would fix, but the next time through the same errors came up. It happened AFTER everything was completed, including paying for the Efile which I cannot do!
What's great about it: nothing
What's not so great: Would not Efile state return, would not let me correct errors

Good thing you updated to include previous feature

I would never buy your product again if you choose to make me upgrade to Premier, just to do basic investment work.
It was a good thing that you upgraded your "Deluxe" just to cover the basics as in past editions!

I couldn't figure out how to view the actual forms without printing them. Used to be able to do that easily.

Held off buying Turbotax this year due to unfavorable reviews. I have always been able to use Basic because it included all the forms I need, and I don't need extra guidance. I received the Premier edition for the price of Basic and was assured that next year Basic would again include the forms I need.
What's great about it: Quick and easy. Received upgrade to Premier for price of Basic
What's not so great: Waited late to be sure I would get all forms that I need to file.

Been using TT for several years now. Overall it is an easy to use system for folks who don't have a lot of complicated finances/investments.
Complaints are minor: importing documents requires prior setup with your employer/payroll provider and banks.
Deductions are not readily sortable alphabetically, so as new ones are added/old ones drop, the listing gets out of order and isn't easily reset to an A thru Z listing.
As you complete a section, it brings you back to the summary page that grows as you complete sections - such that by the time you near completion, you are having to scroll scroll scroll to get to the NEXT SECTION buttons.
It would be good if either the sections completed were minimized more or when it brought you back to the summary page, put you at the NEXT SECTION buttons instead of the top of the screen.
What's great about it: Better streamlining thru the steps
What's not so great: Can't sort deductions alphabetically - new sections reset screen to top forcing you to scroll down

Love Turbo Tax

I've been using Turbo Tax for years because it is easy to use and has been very reliable and accurate for me. I had to go up to the premium edition in the last 2 years and find it a little pricey. But I will continue to use this product. It's great.
What's great about it: Easy to use, transfers info from previous return, quick
What's not so great: cost
