Exceptional & efficient

I had a limited time to work on this and was thrilled that I was able to complete my taxes in less than 4 hours with a significant refund.
What's great about it: I walked through everything in one morning
What's not so great: None that I saw

Please allow us to delete a line. I had k-1 info in 2013 but none in 2014. Why couldn't I just delete the "0" that appeared. It blocked my e-filing. I had to call to find out I had to go to "Forms" and delete the worksheet. Too many steps.
What's great about it: When you have many stock sales, importing is a time-saver.

My Turbo Tax Review

Love the detailed step-by-step software and the running numbers at the top for Fed and State refund or tax owed.
What's great about it: Not having to enter the addresses of charities.
What's not so great: Only asked if IRA transfer money was going to a ROTH IRA not asked whether it was going to a non-ROTH IRA.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

generally good but some flaws

On one k1 tt either reported a sale twice on 8949 one from broker and one while inputing the k1 info on this one I could not figure out how TT came up with my costs and they came up with a negitive cost basis this prevented me from e-filing
ended up reporting the sale twice so I could e-file
What's great about it: most common stuff is good like cmmon income income and deductions
What's not so great: ki's are flawed and help is not complete

Aside from our tax systems complexity, Turbo Tax attempts to simplify the process with the question areas.
What's great about it: Ease of use

software was easy to use - just wish Turbo Tax didn't charge to file one State return - one Federal and one State filing should be free - anything beyond that should be charged for.

What's not so great: have to pay to fill state
