Finally Done! Thanks!

Overall excellent product. Tedious, but thorough! Please add a way to edit typos in the top level description for charitable contribution organization in the stepbystep view. I had to go to the forms view to correct this. Data entry is tedious, can you do the same thing here as described below?
In the stock sales section, please add a feature where I can copy data from my spreadsheet and paste the whole section into an empty table for individual stock sales, including ESPP or ISO/NQSO. This would save me a TON of time. It's easy for me to organize the data in the spreadsheet to match whatever table organization (column headers) you pick. I could have done the work in minutes rather than hours!. Please, please put this on your change list.
What's great about it: Thorough! I have confidence the results are correct.
What's not so great: Tedious data entry: stock sales & charitable manual entries.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I used both business and personal and both were pretty seamless. It's nice that the business software allows us to import data from Quickbooks - that's a massive time-saver.
What's great about it: easy navigation, walked me through everything
What's not so great: Would be nice if the payment for the software included the chance to have questions answered by a live human via chat

Another year done, will be back for 2015

Overall pleased with this year's product (Premier). One glitch at the beginning: when TurboTax automatically searched for last year's file, it just searched and searched and finally froze... twice. Had to intervene and show it where the file was. After that, all of last year's data loaded just fine. I've used TurboTax for a number of years now and I feel I have a pretty good understanding of how to prepare my taxes with it. However, if I was new to it this year, that might not have been the case. A little more explanation might help first timers understand a bit better. For example, I have 2 kids attending college. TurboTax made it appear that I could only count secondary education expenses as deductions if I was the one in school. I had to search to confirm that I could include my kids' expenses. TurboTax should say something like "Here you may claim your own expenses or the expenses of qualified dependents as deductions" without having to search elsewhere for it. I get the feeling that TurboTax takes for granted that the person using the software already knows things like this. I do, but if my wife, who has never done our taxes before had done them this year, she would have had a rough go of it.
What's great about it: As usual, it was pretty easy for my somewhat complicated return.
What's not so great: Really wish I could move down the page with the down arrow rather than having to use the slider or tab.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Works well -- nearly all the time

Another year, another tax return filed with Turbo Tax. It's easy to use and gets the job done.
There are edge cases that are not well handled. My son goes to college and we saved up some money to pay for that in a college fund. We get too much money to claim college expenses as a deduction, but the profits on our college savings still are not taxable when spent on my son's education. TurboTax confusingly asks if we want to deduct our college expenses even though we can't, and if we accidentally leave the field set at its default value, TurboTax then taxes us for the profits on the education savings account. It takes a bit of time to figure out what happened and how to fix it.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Obscure User Interface bugs
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I've used Turbo Tax for over 10 years. I've always purchased the Deluxe version, which has supported filing Schedule D. This year, I was surprised to find out that Schedule D is only supported with the Premier version. I received a free upgrade, but this appears to be a way to force people to purchase a more expensive version. If this happens in next years release, I'll shop around before I commit to using Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Filed Federal as I have for the past 10+ years
What's not so great: Deluxe version no longer supports Schedule D
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Got it done !!!

We inherited a small farm several years ago. Initially, entering the information for depreciation of farm equipment and facilities was confusing and time consuming. But now the data is saved year-to-year, and TurboTax calculates the depreciation value automatically.
What's great about it: Information from last year's return was available, so work on this return flowed easily through the process.
What's not so great: I can't think of anything I didn't like.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy to navigate - lots to explore

I've used it for years and it did everything I expected. It is still awkward to handle amortized bond premium on a 1099-int with both taxable and non-taxable income. Foreign taxes can only be attributable to one country (or various) per 1099-div.
I was disappointed in the original deluxe version until Intuit made it right by adding back the interest and dividend reporting.
What's great about it: Contained all information; worksheets clarified calculations
What's not so great: poor handling of ABP for 1099-int

It has its moments

Mostly usable and reasonable product. The pros are it gets it done, and it's always available at a discount off their asking price from any number of sources.
The more memorable are the cons: In Fed shows HSA money from off the W2 as income and computes taxes based on it, but if you try to see this "Other Income" entry it is not anywhere on the Enter Income page. The numbers don't align, you can't push into the number to see the source. It's only much later when they do get to HSA specifics that you are able to indicate what portion your employer paid vs yourself and the taxes and "other income" numbers adjust.
The other nit was on state taxes where it pulls capital gains from Fed and then asks something along the lines of HOW MUCH OF THIS IS DEDUCTABLE FOR STATE TAXES? but does not offer a clue on how to determine what if any is.
What's great about it: Pulls in prior return data, pulls in W2 and Mutual Fund data
What's not so great: Can not push into unknown items for explanation of basis
