I have used a professional company for the last 25 years. Their prices have gotten so high I decided to try to do my taxes on my own this year. Turbo Tax was recommended by a friend. I found it very easy to use, the questions guided me and were easy to understand. I will use Turbo Tax in the future.

I love this product

Excellent. I have used this product for 20+ years now (starting with a predecessor). I tried another one a few years ago, but hated it. Will never leave TurboTax
What's great about it: So easy to use and covers EVERYTHING
What's not so great: A few bumps this year, but all able to be handled

good program

AZ State return did not allow one to correct a mistake. There was no EDIT indicator on the program for Arizona.
I really like the program but need to make the State program more user friendly. I found it very confusing.
What's great about it: Was pretty easy for a user with no knowledge of filling out a return.
What's not so great: Had a hard time finding where to note my 1040-es payments. Had the same problem last year.

A Job Well Done...Again

Jumping between the interview and the forms modes worked very will. Anticipating the e-filling step always raises the blood pressure: "My god, what if something goes wrong in the middle of it!" Not to worry. It flows smoothly. As the saying goes, "IE-filing is always better the second time around."
What's great about it: I am in my nineties, and the 2014 process had a number of enhancements and a lower learning curve than in prior years
What's not so great: Somet times making changes on a finished return can be tedious

I have using TurboTax since 2006 and every year it gets easier to use. It is a thorough, comprehensive, and friendly software package that has simplified my life.
What's great about it: easy to use, comprehensive, thorough
What's not so great: none
