Excellent and easy to follow

Over all good product and I will use it next year
What's great about it: I can stop when ever I like and pick up the return at another time and continue where I left off
What's not so great: I wish when i bought the deluxe version as I did in 2013 i was required to up grade to the premiun edition half way

Great way to deal with complexity of IRS

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years, and it gets better each year. By importing previous years data, and downloading W2 and 1099 information, it makes doing the return very simple. The step by step process and the checking that it does helps make sure that you have a complete return.
What's great about it: Loads previous years information, Downloads W2 and 1099 information, simplifies a complex process

Got lots more than I thought I would

We got more deductions than I was expecting. Turbotax was thorough in searching out all possible deductions. It's much appreciated.
What's great about it: It was easy to work through the Turbotax system.

2014 Away!

I've used TurboTax for several years and have never been disappointed, or had any issues. I will use it again next year because I know that it will help me do the correct filing, and done easily. Love it!
What's great about it: Simple step-by-step. Helps through new changes. Preloads information. Great time saver!
What's not so great: More expensive than box stores.

The IRA section is still somewhat confusing, particularly as it relates to conversions.
More information on handling the sale of Master Limited Partnerships would be helpful.

The same, only different

Bought the same product that I have in the past but needed to upgrade because of changes made to the software. At least it was free, this year. If I am forced to buy the upgraded package to get the forms I have always needed , I will be buying the competition product. KEEP THIS PACKAGE THE SAME AS IN PREVIOUS YEARS!!!
What's great about it: Was able to upgrade for free
What's not so great: Needed to upgrade, due to forms not being the same as in previous years

Excellent Tool!

Having switched to TurboTax from another product for 2013 taxes, I'm comfortable and confident using this software, and happily recommend it to others. The only thing blocking an excellent rating was the confusion caused by disabling some functionality in the more moderately priced Deluxe version.
What's great about it: Easy to use, reliable results
What's not so great: Not sure if the more expensive Premier version was needed for my situation

Basic - Undesirable Change

Having used Turbotax Basic for over 10 years I expected another easy filing. But this year the required (but hidden to me) upgrades came as a shock. Fortunately, Intuit seemed to have recognized the problem so when Basic would go no further without an upgrade, the Intuit Customer service rep I talked to walked me through getting the needed upgrade free. I trust that the 2016 Basic (tax year 2015) will again handle my return. My income and expense categories haven't changed over the years, so I used Basic and hope to continue.
What's great about it: EAsy to Use and accurate
What's not so great: Incomplete
