Three lockups

This software locked up several times. Once because of a corrected 1099. I tried to delete my downloaded data & it gave me a "Not responding" error. Again it locked up when I tried to print a final copy to PDF. Rotten timing! This is the worst T-Tax experience I have had in many years.
What's great about it: Filed my return
What's not so great: Had to do it four times

Continues to be easy to use, even though I had to enter all data this year.
What's great about it: Seems to cover things thoroughly
What's not so great: if you go back in some places, it deletes you entries
Pros: I bought or sold investments

The software did not correctly transfer the amount of addition estimated Federal Income taxed paid in 2014 from line 41 on my 1040A to the Iowa 2014 IA 1040 line 32

Premier too complicated

In spite of information on previous years' forms and the 1099Rs imported from financial institution, the basis of the IRAs was not transferred, so Turbotax Premier omitted the 8606 forms from our taxes and it took hours to get help and correct the problem. It would have cost us more than $300 in taxes if we had not caught the problem.
What's great about it: Good support
What's not so great: Not all info was transferred from last year or imported as with Deluxe

Easily followed thru all the different items for income and deductions. It brings up things I forgot about or didn't know about. It has a "friendly attitude" I have used it for years.

The REFUND

I love the ease of the workflow.
What's great about it: The ease of filling everything in.
What's not so great: I wish there was an easier way to put in my W-2 information like take a snapshot and it auto populates everything.
