Stress free Tax Preparation

I have used Turbo tax at home and other software in my professional career and for most people Turbo tax is all you need and is a great value. It doe the heavy lifting. You need to gather your information which you would need to do for any preparer and then just follow the instructions right through to electronic filing. It is awesome!
What's great about it: I like the ease of use and the prompts throughout!
What's not so great: I can't think of anything

A lot of helpful data forwarding

Much better flow than previous years. Import result could be more positive. Did not confirm that import was a corrected set.
What's great about it: A lot less inputting results in fewer errors to correct
What's not so great: Did not confirm or summarize data imported from brokerage
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Thankfull for Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax is easy to use. You just input data from the tax forms you receive such as W-2's, 1099's, 1095-A's, etc. Many times it uploads this data directly from the originator of the tax form, saving you time and assuring accuracy. Best of all, when you do your taxes the following year it uploads all the data from your previous return, so you don't have to type in repeat information on originators of income or deductions. Federal and state e-filing is easy and refunds are quick.
What's great about it: Easy to Use
What's not so great: Removal of features from Deluxe edition

2014 Tax Return

Good product. Wish Turbo Tax had a gift tax return product to help with Form 709.
What's great about it: Relatively simple to use.
What's not so great: Sometimes hides calculations that explain what is happening.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It was very confusing when all you have are royalty payments for mineral rights. You do not own any land nor do you own a company. That section is very confusing!
What's great about it: Very easy to do with exceptions!
What's not so great: Royalty entries
