Not Very Friendly

This version of Turbo Tax was very frustrating to use with a MacBook Air. You had to repeatedly try to coax the scroll bar on the right side into allowing you to progress through the program. I'll have to think carefully whether I use this product next year.

Easy filing with TT Premier

I continue to use Turbo Tax year after year!
What's great about it: Transfer info from previous year and compares figures
What's not so great: Takes time = NOT TT's fault

Had a few ?s this year & was able to get through the return(s) by taking the time to read & absorb the "explain this."
Also, love the graph that indicates high or low risk & the addition of Smart Check. Really gives me confidence in the compilation & completion of our return(s). Double checking never hurt.
What's great about it: Seems as tho TT gets more succinct & clarifications easily accessed & understood.

easy to navigate once done before

sales tax - extra amount didn't include blank line...couldn't put in sales tax paid for computer
it's deductible - not enough choices...make easier enter items not listed
What's great about it: they do all the questions so forms come out right
What's not so great: Sometimes doesn't let you enter unusual items

Has been the best way for myself and family to file over the past number of years and have been very satisfied.

I love using Turbo Tax each year! It reminds you of every single deduction you can possibly take.

Losing focus

It was bad enough that they wanted more money for Schedule D, etc., but the investment section was poorly written. Inherited property forced you into stocks and bonds which made no sense. Work arounds were confusing at best.
What's great about it: Ease of transfer of information
What's not so great: Poor Investment section
