To do both our personal and sub chapter S corporation taxex, I have to buy two programs and the cost is getting a little steep. Hope you don't force me to go with one of the FREE programs
What's great about it: Easy to follow and use
What's not so great: Have to buy one for home & one for sub chapter S

It was difficult getting past the payment page. The difficulty came when I wanted to put the payment on my credit card....Money came off my card, but I still couldn't file my taxes.....We did succeed at the end.
What's great about it: sales rep was very patient
What's not so great: It took over 1 1/2 hours

Ease of use, again

As always, using TT is a snap. My only complaint is that there is a charge for filing State forms; when TT makes a big deal out of telling us that 1 State form is free.
What's great about it: as always, and after 20 years of using, I still like TT best
What's not so great: claiming that State filings (completion of forms) is free; then charging for filing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Foreign and multi-state returns

You really need to guide people through the foreign income section better. It is all but incomprehensible due to a lack of information about what certain terms mean.
You need to work on how to handle returns for people who have lived and worked in two states but also have lived in one state and worked remotely in another. Your form miscalculated this for me and I had to override it after spending 2 hours on the phone with tech support.
What's great about it: You have the forms to handle it
What's not so great: You make it really really difficult

Have used Turbo Tax since 1995 with exception of one year used another, what a mistake. It seems that Turbo Tax talks to you in phrases that you easily understand. There are no surprises as you are guided thru each section. As with all tax prep if you keep your records and data up dated all year long you can flow through the JOB with little frustration. I only wish there could be year long front end loading program so that you could enter data once a month.
What's great about it: Easy transfer of repeat info year to year saves frustration. Guides without leading.
What's not so great: Investment section could be lower priced a low priced addon to Deluxe edition
Pros: I bought or sold investments
