Turbo tax even helps procrastinators

Turbo tax is awesome -- I've been using it for many years [like 15+] and while I do procrastinate on my taxes -- and yes, if I were to need to file that extension it would help me..... Turbo tax is so easy it has NEVER come to that. I can start and finish usually in a couple of days or so. I like doing them on MY schedule, not when some CPA is available, and if that means 2am after work, so be it. Love the online storage, and it's deductible features, as well as importing from employers, and brokerage firms.
I've tried other products, but turbo tax is the best, and most straight forward to use. When my life situation changed from married to widowed years ago it even helped me figure out the tax changes for that. Now with a son in college, it is helping me get the maximum tax credit for paying tuition -- not a small expense !!
I won't be buying anything but turbo-tax.
What's great about it: I love the walk you thru every step feature!
What's not so great: what's not to like !

The on the phone tech rep, ISABELLA, was very capable and led me through a very detailed re-installation and internet connection solution to my being unable to file my taxes. She has my heartfelt thanks and should be commended at the corporate level. Thanks again for many years of tax help through TurboTax..

I am no tax expert of any sort, but appreciated all the help w/ the forms, numbers, efiling.
What's great about it: Fills and prints ALL forms
What's not so great: Need to add to "Estimated Tax" payments, a form of 'stub' where I can add check number/date/amt

Not what I expected from Turbo Tax

Not sure if I will buy Turbo tax again. The product could be much better, especially how much it costs.
What's great about it: Don't have to enter tax info each year for new return
What's not so great: Found this hyear's Turbo tax to be more incomplete and confusing

I HATE having to save to the cloud!

I HATE having to save to the cloud! Why has turbo tax made it so difficult to simply save my tax file to my hard drive!?! I don't need and DON'T want the cloud.

I accidently entered my pension twice, with one word difference in the payor, but the amount was exactly the same. The Turbo Tax review did not catch the error.

Made it one more year

I have been using Turbo Tax since the 1990's. As an accountant and former tax preparer it has been easy to get through the options that apply to me. Some of the questions are a bit tedious and silly though wish I could quit those. I don't believe the stock investment portion should have been removed from the Deluxe version. Some individuals do have a lot of investments and don't make a whole lot of money from them. So when you include it in a more advanced version when not everyone has a rental home or owns a business it is very frustrating.
What's great about it: I can still quickly go through and select what I need
What's not so great: Removed the stock investment from deluxe!
