Upset and switching to TaxAct next year

As a result I did my taxes this year with both TurboTax Premier and TaxAct - same results. TaxAct easier to use and provides all my needs at much lower cost. And still upset I had to get Premier version for my simple needs. I won't be back. But filed with TurboTax and requesting $25 refund per TurboTax apology.
What's not so great: The elimination of Schedule D from Deluxe version and nonsense many filings from one version just too much.

Getting easier every year!

What's great about it: Love the autoload for infor from It's Deductible, prior years Infor, etc.
What's not so great: Some of the lingo is difficult to understand sometimes

Helped me out of a last minute filing

I was worried this year because of all the financial events that happened this year. Sale of a home, refinance, new dependent. Much easier than I thought.
What's great about it: covered all the complexity of my return with ease
What's not so great: e-filing charge for state

Easiest Way to Do Your Taxes

I use TurboTax every year. It tracks my investments, write-offs etc. and makes it easy for me to get a good quality return finished without paying an accountant through the nose.
What's great about it: Easy to do even more complicated returns
What's not so great: Some of the real estatement investment is not intuitive but it worked

What's great about it: efficient- reduced tedious address in charities
What's not so great: Need to be able to print directly from turbo tax. I had to download PDF first.

I continue to be a devoted Turbo Tax user. I did my own taxes for years and it consumed endless hours and added a great deal of stress to my life. Turbo Tax automates the process and actually helps me understand my financial situation better. Its very helpful to carry over information from one Tax Year to the next. Comparing year to year a key way to double check my returns. Thank you!!!
What's great about it: Easy to use; walks me through the process; download of accounts is a real timesaver
What's not so great: None noted
