Quick and Easy

i do the taxes for several members of my family and as long as circumstances (jobs, marriage, number of kids) have not changed it takes very little time. Even when the number of kids changes it is fast too.
What's great about it: Bringing in data from previous year and from Quicken
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

great tax program; never been let down. the one time I had to use the audit defense it was not worth the money spent on it other than that great work
What's great about it: easy just follow the questions
What's not so great: audit defense not good

Quick-Easy-Maximum LOVED IT!

I've been using Turbo Tax now for close to 12 years. It has been a fantastic product for a small business or the average individual. The step by step and cross checking is wonderful and so accurate. I am a school business accountant by trade and find this to be a accurate and easy software to use. The improvements that have been made over the years just keep making it better and better!
What's great about it: step by step help - and forward for previous year so helpful
What's not so great: move individual printing of sections would be nice and submit screen
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Great Product

Turbo Tax has been my preferred way to file my taxes the past several years. However, next year I will be looking for another option as turbo tax has become very expensive to use.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate
What's not so great: Expensive product without free efile for states
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Great service overall

I would've given 5 starts, except for the fact that now they force you to purchase the premium option to enter simple stock sale transactions. In the past this was easily done with the deluxe version. I will probably use a different software next year.
What's great about it: easy to use, help available along the way
What's not so great: they make you buy the premium option to enter simple stock sale transactions

Originally purchased Deluxe but needed Premier because of interest and dividend income. Called Intuit and received an adjustment (free Premier) due to confusion. Have used Turbo tax for 15 years with no problems with my returns.
What's great about it: Doing everythin in order with explanations as needed
What's not so great: Original purchase but problem quickly solved
