What's great about it: Like capability to select categories and only update required ones and compare with prior year data
What's not so great: Would like to rearrange multiple items on a page - ie. arrange interest inputs alphabetically

Not much help with new 1099-B basis

Now that the broker doesn't include W2 income in the basis I needed to make a special adjustment. Everyone told me I need to file an 8949, but that didn't help me in Turbo Tax. I was pretty desperate when I found that you have to invoke "details" to get to the proper dialogs.
I think this is common enough this year that a statement about what to do if this is employer stock transaction should have been present up front.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax handled it in the end
What's not so great: I spent hours before I found an answer in the questions list

Simple and Easy

A great way to do your taxes. It walks you throught the process and explains each step clearly. It takes some time to complete it... but not in a bad way. It uses the latest updates to the tax laws and this is what adds to your time...the program brings up more ways to get deductions that I have not considered and I'll have to spend some time to retrieve the information to see if I can get it. That is why it is not in a bad way.
What's great about it: Walks you through the process

A Great Tax Program

I did my return from a place in fl. Didn't have last years file on the computer I used and could not transfer last years tax information. This greatly complicated filling out return. Turbo Tax should be able to keep a copy of a return online in a file dedicated to the user in a turbo tax account. That way no matter where a person is or what computer they are using they could be able to transfer last years return information into current return.
What's great about it: like the hole program
What's not so great: should be able to keep copy of return online in a turbo tax file

The only problem was that although I answered every K-1 question, the program still found problems with the K-1 portion of the return. I would pay money for a better K-1 processing
