1ST Import of data

I would like the ability to play "What if" with current and future tax years. Specifically, my wife and I received raises and we need to plan for future tax withholding and retirement plan contributions.
I had an item on imported data that does not look correct. It is the listing of capital gain/loss within an IRA.
What's great about it: Importing data from Financial Institution
What's not so great: No explaination of handling of imported item

Should not have to call intuit with being unable to download State Plus when ready to purchase E-File unable to to access my account. Intuit was very helpful on resolving all my issues

It would be nice to know in a summary format what deductions won't apply for a certain income level, such as education expenses. I would not spend time filling them in for 3 college students if I would have known my income exceeded a level where there would be no deduction. Now the IRS has more information than they need.
hope I find a way to get all the rebate money you said you would give us for changing the package from requiring deluxe to premium.
What's great about it: It stayed relatively consistent with prior year
What's not so great: The charitable item that reflects on your W2 should show up in the listed charity section.

Very disappointed this year

I hope TT does something nice to lure me back next year. I have been using TT since they first came out.
It was very unclear that deluxe version could no longer do 1099's. had to pay to upgrade to premier version, and now i cannot get my total $$ returned, because i paid more to download than the refund TT is giving.

IRS requires foreign tax credit to be split up by country. TT can only do ONE country. IRS not happy with using Various.
At least the community help support has the answers for the things which were impossible to intuitively find - like how to delete unused K1 forms, how to make estimated federal tax payments for 2015

2015 Tax Triumph

I've used TurboTax for years, largely because the software is easy to navigate and I don't have to worry that a stone has been left unturned. I can complete the process in a few hours and with e-filing be done and on my way. It's a welcome resource!
What's great about it: Easy to use software; thorough in its questions and queries
What's not so great: Tax Code "ese" often hard to understand and software explanations/definitions not always so helpful

No Schedule D in Turbotax Deluxe

My Customer Service Representative (James) was extremely helpful in taking care of my inquiry and then proceeded to patiently help me with a couple of other problems (account title and password). I am happy with TurboTax, and hope that you will consider including Schedule D in Deluxe next year when I get ready to use it again.
What's great about it: I appreciate the fact that Turbotax recognized the problem of the missing Schedule D and made the necessary adjustments.
What's not so great: The extra effort to obtain this Schedule for a service that I had been using for years and expected it again this year

We sold four MLPs last year. Turbo Tax made the K-1 Forms data easy to input.
What's great about it: Simplified Master Limited Partnership Calculations
