Been using TurboTax annually for over 20 years. Signed up for automatic renewal every year. Very happy with the product and the ease of doing Federal and State Taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: None

Software Bugs

When updates were pushed out, as a Mac OS X user, I had many failed updates, leaving me unable to use this, causing hours of delays and frustration.
The option to update can be checked or unchecked on a PC, the same needs to happen on Mac OS X in 2015, otherwise I will not use this program
What's great about it: Knowing that I have used it over the previous years, imports well
What's not so great: Bugs in the update for Mac OS X, not worth it for me next year

Love Turbo Tax

I have used TT for almost 10 years now and love it. The flexibility of using the interview process or going directly to the items you want to work on is great. Ability to import W2s, other forms and financial data is excellent. Overall great product.
What's great about it: Easy to use, import docs/data
What's not so great: Didn't ask a couple of questions about child's education first time but did when it checked for errors - minor issue

Still satisfied, but less confident

I have filed using TurboTax since 2004. In fairness, my tax preparation has become more complex in recent years, but something seems to be a bit off with the last few versions. Some aspects seem needlessly complicated where I really don't understand what the program is doing or why. Things work okay if you go through the steps in sequence, but if you have to navigate backwards, the results can be unpredictable. For instance, at one point I got into a continual loop in the "check my taxes" function, where I actually had to close out of the program and restart it to get out of that loop. Overall, I feel less confident in the program, and I'm starting to wonder if makes more sense for me to hire someone to do my taxes next year.
What's great about it: Mostly automated tax preparation
What's not so great: Navigation, efile problems

Deluxe - Premier

Not happy with the downgrading of Deluxe. You did provide a free upgrade to Premier this year. I have used Turbo tax for 30? years. Next year, for the first time, I will look at alternatives.

We bantered by email how to fix it until I decided to remove Turbo Tax and reinstall it. I had to call David and he had me fixed up in 10 minutes. I would have saved a week of back and forth by calling him.
What's not so great: I had trouble with Turbo Tax had decided that my free state tax forms would be CA (2013) now I live in NC

Things I Would Like To See

I have been a user and fan of Turbo Tax since it was invented. Price and product feature reduction fiasco this year was very annoying. I initially purchased same product as last year and when advisory came out about need to buy next level product to qualify for price rebate, I did that. Shortly after that the deal changed to provide needed documents to match prior year product without need to buy next level and apply for rebate. Absolutely not well thought out processes by Turbo Tax senior management. I love the product. Hate the hassle.
What's great about it: Interview process gives opportunity to cover all bases and contingencies.
What's not so great: All of my information is in Turbo Tax so the interview process should already know if I am subject to AMD or elder care
