TurboTax keeps getting better every year. I've used it since 1988 and haven't missed a year.
What's great about it: very logical approach... easy to follow.

Overall very good. Would like to be able to pick SL depreciation for some items that automatically use 200 ddb. Also would like shortcut to standard deduction without going through all itemized deducts.
What's great about it: Easy to use, very straight forward
What's not so great: Had to wade thru itemized deducts, need short cut to std deduct

This is a good easy way to file your tax returns. Quite staght forward and flyable. The real problem is the constant changing tax code

TurboTax is the best

I've been a TurboTax user since the ChipSoft days. I've used other tax prep software a few times, but I've always come back to TurboTax. It has always suited my circumstances excellently.
What's great about it: Easy to use, flexible, very helpful
What's not so great: Had to get 2014 Premier to take care of stock sale, but I understand Intuit will issue a partial refund.
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Some Glitches in 2014 Version

Should allow the search function to call up every step of the tax process, not just the main headings. Also allow adjustments to the deeper deductions areas even if those were bypassed or answered no before. I had to delete all data entered in a previously completed section and start from scratch to get to a question I needed to reconsider. Sometimes you think of other things when starting your tax return, and you should be able to locate that specific section easily.
What's great about it: Pretty easy to use and thorough - up to a point (see below)
What's not so great: It's difficult - sometimes impossible - to get back to one of the deduction screens once you've entered data.
