Much easier than old hand calculations!

It would be a simple enhancement to Turbo Tax to input the mileage to a charity donation location. Then when you input a charity donation the program could automatically add the mileage itemized deduction for that date and mileage.
What's great about it: No arithmatic mistakes.
What's not so great: Input of mileage for charity donations could be much simpler.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Good program/Bad marketing

Everything was fine except this years "deluxe" did not include everything that last years "deluxe" had. I had to buy the "premier".
Not good.
Not good.
What's great about it: As good as ever if you upgraded.
What's not so great: Deluxe became basic. Premier became deluxe.

TurboTax Inestments version is excellent!

I've been using TurbTax for many years and always found it to be excellent, and improving every year. They make the tax return preparation as painless as possible. The "Help" sections are very informative. This year was the first year that I imported investment information and I was amazed at how quickly the information downloaded into TurboTax; that really simplified the input process.
When I had completed inputting income information, I noticed a huge error in capital gains--it took me a while to track it down and it was simply that I had input the information inccorectly. When I finally found the Schedule D form, I located the error, corrected it in the form, and the entire return updated immediately and was correct,
I have great confidence in the accuracy of TurboTax and I recommend it highly.
What's great about it: Very easy to use and very intuitive, logical steps
What's not so great: Can be a little diffficult to find individual forms

Difficulties using MacBook air

Very difficult to scroll down on long pages...very hard to "grab" vertical black bar on right of page. Using MacBook Air with Yosemite OS X 10.10.2
What's great about it: Very easy to use and precise.
What's not so great: "Scroll Down" interface not good

I purchased the home edition first and found that it won't
work for me. i had to buy premier to get what home used to do
for me prior to the changes in the programs. I am very upset for the inconvince.

Couldn't e-file

My spouse works for an international organization. They receive a W-2 however they pay their own taxes with a tax allowance. I must complete a SE form since no taxes are withheld. I have to force (override) the SE form to properly reflect the reduction of self employment tax on the Form 40. When doing this Turbo Tax will not allow me to electronically file.
The help forum did not provide me a solution to the above issue.

Hooray I'm Done

Have been a TT user for over 10 years and love it. Was particularly impressed with how it imported my bank data without any apparent error or problem.
What's great about it: Instructions are clear
What's not so great: Seems like redundant requests for input data (ie: questions)
