Free upgrade to accommodate missing feature

As usual I filed purchased Turbo Tax Deluxe to file our return. I have been using this product since it bought out MacInTax.
There was nothing new this year in my tax situation but Turbo Tax 2014 does not seem to cover all the same tax situations as it did last year.
I appreciate Turbo Tax giving me the automatic free upgrade to Premier but wonder why this feature was not part of Turbo Tax Deluxe.
What's great about it: Got a product upgrade prompt to complete return and Turbo Tax gave me a free upgrade.
What's not so great: Why was this feature not part of Turbo Tax Deluxe?

Had to refer back to 2013 review and understand what TT wanted.
What's great about it: Like the walk through feature and checks
What's not so great: Helps are not clear and at a level to understand

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 7 years and absolutely love it to prepare taxes simply, quickly and completely.
What's great about it: Easily selects ALL tax related items needed for a complete return
What's not so great: Sometimes explanations of errors is not understandable

Everytime I opened Turbo Tax, except one time, a download was available and the download was 98.7 MB. It was frustrating waiting for the long download.

2014 forms

When the review of the forms happens, often there are a few issues (missing information from 1099 forms for instance) that are not explained well as to what I need to do. Making that easier to someone who is not a pro at taxes would really help.
What's great about it: fast as usual
What's not so great: doesn't always explain how to handle questions the the audit finds.

Not as easy as last year

I don't really know what they did differently last year compared to this year but it was totally confusing this year! Filling out the K-1 information was a nightmare! Made me wish I had paid an accountant! I also had to purchase the Premier this year and I didn't have to buy it with Deluxe last year!
What's great about it: Better than paying an accountant
What's not so great: Very confusing about where items needed to be entered compared to last year.
