Good experience

This year TurboTax had questions about an investment that was not reported to the IRS. It caused a lot of hassle. But I finally was able to answer all the questions after talking with our financial advisor.
What's great about it: TurboTax thinks of everything so I don't have to!

Mostly easy

Overall a great product, have used TurboTax for 10 yrs. Threw me a little curve ball this yr. Not enough to make me change methods though.
What's great about it: 99pct. very easy. See con
What's not so great: Spent an hour trying to figure why my state refund didn't show up in the income review. Not income if std. deduc. used

Good Program

The one short coming of the program is that it does not print the forms, but puts them to a PDF which I have NEVER liked when TurboTax went that way, but this year the default file save name is not acceptable just garbage.
What's great about it: In depth questions make things easy
What's not so great: Printing is NOT acceptable

Turbo Tax is not entirely fool proof

I was ready to E-file when it occurred to me that TT did not ask me about state sales tax dedution. If some how I passed it over the first time around, I think TT should have noted that and ask me about that.
What's great about it: cost less than professional tax preparer
What's not so great: Turbo Tax did not ask me important deduction possibilities

The Only Way to File Your Taxes!

I have used TurboTax for several years now and it is the only way to file a return that you are confident is complete and correct. The questions TurboTax asks get better each year and by that I mean they get easier to understand what the program wants. I highly recommend TurboTax
What's great about it: Makes Our Overly Complicated Tax System Manageable
What's not so great: Still Need a Level of Experience to Understand Some Questions

Time Share Anguished

I have used Turbo-Tax for several years and with confidence - for all the tax-related issues I've had to deal with to date.
I feel that the software could be more clear and in-depth on the issue of Time Share and Vacation home tax issues.
What's great about it: I found the software easy to use for general tax filing. In use, it flowed smoothly.
What's not so great: Inadequate guidance on Timeshare purchases and sales. I found help to be unclear and lacking.
