Some deductions like the investor advisor fees were not directly evident. I might have missed this deduction in previous tax returns. Also, when opening the help box, the text size changed drastically making it hard to read.
What's great about it: Ease of transfering data from broker accounts
What's not so great: Some deductions not readily identified

2014 Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax for years, and overall I think it is the best Tax Preparation software available.

What's great about it: Easy, and straight forward questions, with detailed explanations when needed.
What's not so great: Could sometime provide better examples of actual tax situations

Cannot be easier

I recommend the Premier version in that it easily handles investment and business details. Turbo Tax get easier to use each year.

Simple & easy payment!

I knew i had to pay this year and was concerned about the process. I've always got a refund so the thought of figuring out the best way to pay gave great stress. I checked the Fed & State websites and just felt like it was going to be a hassle and I really didn't want to do snail mail!!! WELL, Turbo Tax is awesome! i started the e-filing and was able to make both payments plus all my banking info was already included and correct so just had to pick a date to pay and continue clicking thru the prompts and DONE! Love it!!!
What's great about it: User friendly payment process for both Fed & State!

First times the charm

Ok, no joke it was to simple the on screen guide was a big help. I can't believe I have wasted years worth of money paying someone else to do this for me.
What's great about it: Super easy,excellent tips to ensure correct info entered
What's not so great: That I haven't done this before now

Saves Time and Increased Refund

I have used TurboTax Premier forever and have found it a worthwhile and useful purchase. Every year, though, once the basics are taken care of the various forms and schedules needed for investments reporting lead to minor confusion and entries that later need editing--sometimes very difficult to delete, correct, or override. The other frustration with TurboTax is the inability at early stages to review the 1040 and attached forms/schedules as it is to be submitted to the IRS. The view forms feature includes all the worksheet calculations built in and makes it hard to visualize the final 1040 until ready to submit.
What's great about it: Step by Step feature insures that all tax options are reviewed
What's not so great: Seems Less Intuitive Each Year Requiring More Time Reading Explanations
