So glad to be finished!

It would be helpful if when leaving the return to work on worksheets, etc. that the computer would return to the place it was on before, without having to go back through all the previous data to resume working. It would save much time and frustration as well as reducing the possibility of errors.
I would also like a refund for the amount the investment and rental property software cost over the Deluxe model.
What's great about it: I appreciate the fact that usng TurboTax enables me to do the tax return myself.
What's not so great: Instructions could be more clear when the software doesn't allow one to input info.

It really is a great product. I don't like Intuit's politics, but must acknowledge that Turbo Tax is outstanding.
What's great about it: Uploaded last year's data seamlessly, even though last time I used a CD and this time bought online.
What's not so great: Calif. Turbo Tax narrative recap only listed one of three refund contributions. . . a cosmetic-only software glitch.

I usually use Turbo Tax for my Taxes. This year they moved rental properties to the premium software instead of the deluxe. Price jump was huge so I decided to go with H&R.
I tried H&R software and was not very happy. I had to call three times with questions that the software would just leave you kind of hanging. Turbo Tax walked me right through the same area with no hassle at all.
I had to trick H&R to install correctly too.
Best of all Turbo Tax gave me an extra $300 over H&R.
Other than the snafu with the product changes Turbo Tax is by far the better product. I lucked out and bought late, due to doing the taxes with H&R first, so the price was good for me.
What's great about it: Best walk through. Better refund
What's not so great: More expensive

Get the Job Done

Turbo tax simplifies a somewhat complex process. Whatever you do don't call the IRS for help, call Turbo tax.
What's great about it: Easy to use and straight forward
What's not so great: It takes time but you have to do it.

TurboTax 2014

Although TT was a little better/easier than previous years, I regretted having to upgrade to Premium because I sold stock in 2014. I know it was free. But! It was unexpected and inconvenient.
Additionally!!! Having to choose a unique Nickname is almost as painful as doing my taxes!!!
