Did not exceed my expectation

Even with the refund that I expect to get, you have disappointed me this year. Your software cost have gotten to high and I plan to shop around next year for something cheaper. I did not have access to IRS help sites like before and your help/search fell short of my expectations.
What's great about it: Electronic filing
What's not so great: Had to pay to upgrade my purchase for simple form requirement
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Difficult to e-file federal and mail state

Once again if you want to mail your state return because it charges an inordinately high fee, it takes too many clicks to get the job done. Years of suggestions never get a notice, I must be the only one again!

Turbo Tax 2014 is easy to use and without visible flaws.
What's great about it: Ease of use and navigation
What's not so great: More transparency needed. Example: How do you verify tax-exempt interest income

Stalled my lazer jet.

See Cons. Charge for electronically filing state tax return shows up just before you file.
It would be more honest if the charge was noted before you go down the path of filing.
What's great about it: Led me through everything. Quick calculations.
What's not so great: Program has changed and Lazer Jet printer will no longer print the tax return.

Another tax Year with Turbo-Tax Deluxe

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years. I most always file in late March because I do not get all my 1099's from the financial institutions until then. Glad I had to wait. Got the e-mail from the New CEO about how they cheaped out and hosed up the Deluxe version. I let them know what I thought about it. I feel sorry for the early filers that got caught up in that. Then I get an e-mail in Feb. that they heard us and they were providing free upgrades. So, I buy it on-line. I try to upgrade and I get errors and it will not let me upgrade for free. So, I call customer service, and I get right thru. Pleasantly surprised because some of the blogs I had read said they waited 4 hours. Glad that was not my case. I get Samatra on the phone... Hands down the friendliest, most helpful, pleasant to talk to, customer service agent I have ever dealt with. And she had me upgraded in less than 5 minutes, I saw it change from Deluxe to Premier while we were on the phone. I suggest everyone send T-Tax an e-mail and tell them to state on the packaging as a caution of what the program DOESN'T do this year that it did last year. It is a shame that they tried to cheap out and angered a bunch of people. They did finally make it right, but what will happen next year. All that said, great program! I just hope they are smart and do not make me change.
What's great about it: Same useful tools and automatic transfers from last years return
What's not so great: Required an upgrade, and then a customer service call.
