don't change, good returns depend on good data

when I did this for a living, I always liked to be able to see on the form, how the data entry looked and corresponded(snap shots back to the form we were entering data). The true PROs don.t need this. Those of us over a certain age do, because of not being able to picture it in our mind) It's a small percentage of users but that us. Over all this program has always proved to be better and simpler to use than any of the many shops that do taxes for the majority of tax payers.
i.e.: HRB, et all

What's great about it: simple to use and follow directions
What's not so great: needs short cuts to review entrys from each caatagory to another,

Short on useful exhibits

The IRS forms are not always a good form for compiling data in later years. For example, the contributions worksheet is virtually useless as a worksheet. A better choice is the input page(s) but it can not be printed.
What's great about it: Through and accurate
What's not so great: Unable to print the input pages.

I have been a satisfied Turbo Tax customer since 2007. I feel comfortable and secure submitting my taxes every year using this product.

18 years of Turbo Tax

A little hard to find place for deduction of an asset purchase.
Overall I've been using Turbo Tax for almost 20 years and have been happy with it. Could still use some tweaking, but will continue to use it for now.

What's great about it: Easy to use, very user friendly
What's not so great: Still some confusion with deductions for an automobile purchase vs registration.

Unable to print my returns this year. Why isn't it simple? The program sees to hang up when asked to print. I want a simple method: Print my return on letter size paper.
What's great about it: Transferring last year's info
What's not so great: Printing has defeated me

Easy to do...even for me!

It is really helpful to compare last year's numbers with my new numbers for this year. Also I like the ability to estimate how new situations this year will affect my taxes for 2015.
What's great about it: Asks all the right questions.
What's not so great: Had to update the software on my computer before starting.
