Difficulties with filing for a deceased taxpayer

Once I indicated that I was completing a return for a deceased taxpayer, it was painful to answer questions as if she was still living. The scripts should change to ask questions in the past tense. Also, due to federal regulations, I cannot e-file the federal return - so, there is no point in charging me to e-file the state return since I can't e-file it without the federal return! Now, I have to fight to get a refund on that e-file fee!! Very frustrating!!
What's great about it: Walked me through the process
What's not so great: The scripts should be changed for a deceased taxpayer.

Fast and Easy

Good confirmation but one of my banks showed a duplicate income entry. Turbo Tax had confirmed all entries as being correct, Including this duplicate entry. I only caught it because my tax liability was too high.
What's great about it: Easier to do than going to a tax accountant. All necessary information is requested by Turbo Tax
What's not so great: When you go directly to my bank and/or adviser, some of the entries don't appear until later, when you asked to confirm.

NQSO not handled well

Some years Turbo Tax Premier guides me, some years I have to figure out how to enter the data manually without guidance. This year it was manual
I've twice gotten IRS letters where they did not recognize the cashless exchange and demanded additional taxes.
Can't we get it right every year?

What's great about it: Like Down loading from Financial Inst. when possible.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy

My biggest criticism is how difficult it is to figure out how to print the forms I want. This part is not as user friendly.
Also, the way I have to save is confusing.
What's great about it: Easy to follow

Is super fast and easy to transfer previous year's taxes to current year. The software keeps track of almost everything you need for the current tax year. It makes things so easy that I wander if is missing something.
What's great about it: Is so quick
What's not so great: None really

Programmers should allow for data entry errors

I like this program, but when I make a data entry error, it ought to allow me to fix it quickly, from any relevant spot in the program. To tell me that a manual override will not let me file the correct return is ridiculous. But in all fairness, spending about 20 minutes on the phone with support did find a way to fix the problem without the dreaded complete redo.
What's great about it: Basically, a good program with error checking
What's not so great: Arrogance is not letting us do a form overide
Pros: I bought or sold investments
