I am a loyal TT user. I like the fact that TT info can be imported from year to year. I would like to see a specific EXE file feature that would allow users to import old tax info from an old PC to a new PC. I feel that existing method is still too technical for most users to employ.
What's great about it: Easy to use with "guide me" feature

1. Ohio State Tax does not accept accelerated depreciation so Turbo Tax takes you to the State Form during the Tax Review segment, however Turbo Tax offers you no assistance in trying to determine how to complete the tax form (what selection to make).
2. Turbo Tax does not retain answers to some of the questions so every time you go back you have to readdress.
3. Your nickname above is frustrating trying to find something unused.
What's great about it: Walks you through everything so hopefully nothing is missed

Everything In its Place

After sorting all of the papers and forms related to taxes, it's just a matter of entering the information on the forms into Turbo Tax. You don't have to know the complicated tax laws and you don't have to worry about missing a deduction because Turbo Tax does all of the "thinking" for you. Just follow the prompts and you'll be done in no time, and your return will be correct and complete.
What's great about it: There was a "bucket" for every piece of paper I had, e.g., 1099's, 8606's, etc.
What's not so great: None, really. I used to do taxes without Turbo Tax. I can't imagine doing it that way anymore.

Easy way to endure a painful experience

I have been using TurboTax for 10 years. So much easier than doing it myself of going to an accountant. Every year it has gotten better supporting more areas of the tax code. Highly recommended.
What's great about it: Simple, strainght forward approach
What's not so great: Need more explanation of some confusing tax issues

Like the audit support option

not perfect unless you are a CPA, and understand it perfectly, but overall easy to use - explanations are in there, but may have to hunt for certain forms and explanations of certain line items
What's great about it: overall very good
What's not so great: ira section still somewhat confusing- had to read over entry guidelines several times

Been using TurboTax for over 15 years; the only way to go!
What's great about it: Straight forward and logical
What's not so great: still had to pay those taxes...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Faulty state return

My major income on my state tax is my SERS state employees retirement income. This is NOT taxable for state income tax purposes. Your information is causing me to file a return by hand.
What's great about it: speed, accuracy of math
What's not so great: State tax info is faulty
