DONE!

I mistyped an amount when entering info for a K-1. It would have been nice to be able to go to the box and fix it, but no, I had to answer previously answered questions (Foreign account?)
What's great about it: Everything is there
What's not so great: To correct one box, you have to go through the entire section for that document

What's great about it: Transfered last years info to this years return.
What's not so great: Some questions are confusing.

Takes Anxiety out of a Stressful Process

I like TT, I have been using it for the past 5-6 years and wouldn't think of using anything else.
What's great about it: Helps desribe and walk one through the tedious process of filing taxes in a straight forward manner
What's not so great: Restarts at the beginning of sections a lot of times.

Smooth as silk and twice as slick

Retired this year and sold stock for the first time. Still the process was clear and straight forward.
What's great about it: Easy. Just follow the "yellow brick road" Very easy to stay on track .
What's not so great: Tax jargon. Even with the available definitions it can still be somewhat intimidating
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Thorough and Easy

I started using Turbo Tax a few years ago and am always impressed with how easy the software is to use and how flawlessly it always performs. It seamlessly flows between entry forms and always returns to the correct spot so there is never any doubt that the processing is consistent and accurate. I will continue to use Turbo Tax in future years.

Less than expected

The multiple updates were annoying and required being downloaded before tax prep could continue. The inputs during preparation did NOT correctly fill in all the forms. This resulted in corrections during the REVIEW process. Then after the Fed efile was submitted, it was rejected by the IRS for an omitted form input.
What's great about it: Customer service response to upgrading to Premier version. Customer service response to Federal efile after IRS reject.
What's not so great: Excessive updates. S/W did NOT fill all the forms necessary

I use this every year. It walks you through all the steps and asks questions. It even has free software updates. Makes doing my taxes stress free.
What's great about it: Very easy step by step directions.

Turbo Tax Bugs

Turbo Tax Premier on Win 8. Couldn't download the updates, could not download the state files. It was time consuming to fix, but tech support was helpful and we eventually fixed it. Wish the application could work without bugs. Would save time and frustration.
What's great about it: tech support was patient and helped fix the issue
What's not so great: could not download the state updates, application charged me for the state file when I paid for it prior
